Day 10; #endbadgovernance protest continues in Abuja

After a brief lull in the Federal Capital Territory, protesters have resumed demonstrations on Saturday. The protest, which had been paused due to raids and arrests of organizers, is now in full swing.

The protest, which began on August 1, is set to conclude today with a nationwide one million-man march.

On Friday, It was noted that there was heavy security presence in the Central Business District in preparation for today’s events. At Eagles Square, security personnel numbers have increased, unlike the past three days when no protests were taking place.

On Saturday, protesters started their demonstration early, chanting slogans such as “End Hunger” and “Reverse Fuel Subsidy Removal.”
