The Cross River chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), says it has put in place mechanisms for the successful conduct of the party’s membership registration/revalidation exercise.
Mr Bassey Ita, the state APC Publicity Secretary disclosed this on Monday in a telephone interview with the Newsmen in Calabar.
Ita said that state secretariat of the party had already taken delivery of the materials for the exercise which was expected to begin on Wednesday.
“The materials for the exercise came in yesterday and are currently in the custody of the police.
“It is expected that, by tomorrow (Tuesday) the State Officers will train the ward officers on modalities for the exercise before the materials would be distributed to various wards.
“So, hopefully if that is done, the exercise will commence on Wednesday, ” he said.
He said that the party has been mobilising interested members of the public to avail themselves of the opportunity to join APC
