COVID- 19: London-based returnee dies in Lagos

COVID -19: Corona virus , otherwise known as COVID-19 has claimed the life of a London -base returnee, in Lagos, on Saturday.
The late man identified as Charles Unuane was said to have returned recently from London after decades of sojourning in England.
Charles was said to have arrived his younger sister’s residence in Lagos where they discovered that he had a strange ailment which turned out to be COVID-19.
His close friend who identified himself simply as Eric, alleged that Charles arrived the country but nobody suspected that he had the deadly disease.
He said Charles was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he was first isolated before he gave up the ghost during treatment.
The deceased, a business man who had properties in London was said to have been blessed with a wife and three children.
His friend disclosed that Charles who hailed from Ewu, Ishan, in Edo State, left the shore of Nigeria decades ago to London and his last visit was the third since he traveled in 1994.
He said his parents reside at Lekki area of Lagos State where the father a retired civil servant built a house. He is survived by wife and three children.
