An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court on Monday remanded a 25-year-old man, Suleman Kudus, for alleged robbery and attempt to kill a man.
The police had charged Kudus, whose residential address was not provided, with conspiracy, attempted murder and robbery.
The Magistrate, Mrs S.k. Ariyo, who did not take the plea of the defendants, ordered the prosecution to send the case file to the Lagos State Department of Public Prosecutions (DPPs) for advice.
Ariyo adjourned the case until Aug. 3 for mention.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Christopher John, told the court that the defendant attempted to kill the complainant, one Mr Samuel Ameh by using a knife to stab him on his neck and chest.
