Community declare three wanted

Community in the Uzo Local Government district of Enugu has declared three wanted for homosexuality.

The three individuals including Nwovu Nnamdi Edmond and Emeka Njoku, Steve Okoli, remain at large.

The criminal group known as RAINBOW END, which is infamous for promoting homosexual activities and prostitution was said to have opened up a shop three years ago.

“They were initially taken for a sports club, but their secrecy came to public attention when the young in the communities started exhibiting of gay-like activities,” according to a statement by the community

Continuing, it read, “But the Rainbow End Club threw a party that turned violent and attracted the notice of a vigilante organisation in the area.”

“When it was found out they were gay, which is against the law, a large number of them were arrested.

“We urge anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Uzo Local Government head committee in Enugu or the police,” the community statement read.

Several members of their group are currently incarcerated and facing legal proceedings.
