Commiseration on the transition to glory of Dr Samuel Ibiyemi, Publisher of Nigerian NewsDirect Newspaper.
I write to commiserate with family, friends and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ile-Ife fold, and by extension, Osun State, on the transition into Glory of Dr Samuel Ibiyemi, a brother, an accomplished journalist, newspaper proprietor and politician of note.
Dr Ibiyemi, a noble son of the Source, lived a simple but exemplary life and left his mark on the sands of time. The News Direct stable, which is his handy work, is a testimony of his commitment and a worthy contribution to journalism, which Ile-Ife and humanity will forever be proud of.
The departed, equally gave his best to the political family of APC as he relentlessly offered himself for service to the people on the party platform. He contributed his quota and has gone to rest with God in eternal bliss.
It is my prayer that God Almighty will console his family and friends, superintend over all he left behind, and grant him peaceful rest.
