Come invest in Nigeria— UCCIMA charges Abians in Diaspora

The President of Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (UCCIMA) and Vice President of Nigeria-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce, Chief Chidi Nkem-Aruoma, has called on investors and other entrepreneurs, particularly Abians living in diaspora to take advantage of the present status of Abia state as the most investment friendly environment in the country to position themselves accordingly in the year 2022.
In his new year message made available to newsmen in Umuahia, Abia State capital, Chief Aruoma implored Abians in diaspora to come home and invest in Umuahia, as “We have no other place to retire than our home”.
Chief Aruoma who reiterated his administration’s vision in developing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME), in the State, envisioned the year 2022 filled with more business prospects to both the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME),operators in Abia State.
He, however, encouraged SME operators to carefully recognize their clients, customers and prospective partners and strive to work in harmony with them for the best, “As we journey into the year 2022.”
Chief Aruoma who also disclosed that serving clients is not a once and done proposition, pointed out that clients or customers are the people who keep entrepreneurs in business, as they pay for products and services, which makes the business to flourish and remain afloat.
The President of Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, further reminded business owners in Umuahia that are yet to register with the Chamber to do so, so as to avail themselves of the business opportunities lined up for the year.
