Civil defence, correctional, fire and immigration services board disowns report of recruitment into immigration service

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially disclaimed an online publication regarding recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

In a statement issued by the board’s Secretary, Mr. Ja’afaru Ahmed, it was clarified that the information circulating online did not originate from the board. “We want to notify the public that these online publications are not from the board and should be ignored,” the statement read. It also cautioned the public to be vigilant against fraudulent recruitment schemes and scammers.

The board confirmed that recruitment for the Federal Fire Service (FFS) is currently underway. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the next steps through telephone messages and emails based on the contact information provided during their registration.
