Circumcision, 8-day naming ceremony very vital in child’s life — Bishop Iloh

Bishop Emeka Iloh has re-emphasised the existential importance of circumcision and 8-day naming ceremony on child’s life.

Bishop stated this during the naming ceremony of the family of Mr. and Mrs Elvis Eghe Osagiede which took place on the 8th of January, 2022, Ota, Ogun State.

While delivering his sermon, he said the culture of circumcision and giving names to a child is important to a child’s life, saying that it has an impactful meaning in their lives.

He added that both cultures of circumcision and naming ceremony are major determinants of child’s future.

Those present at the ceremony include the grandmother of the Child, Mrs. Magret Omoegbovan, Uncle, Mr. Samuel Omoegbovan as well as other family members.
