Ikenne – Remo in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State was agog on 25th Wednesday, 2022 as the Chief Executive Officer of Jojukish Enterprises, Chief Mrs Bola Kinoshi, was conferred as the Yeye Oge of Ikenne land by the Alakenne Of Ikenne – Remo, HRM Oba Adeyinka Onakade, Moruwafu 1. The ceremony took place at the Palace of Alakenne of Ikenne Remo.
The Yeye Oge title is one of the foremost chieftaincy titles in Yorubaland and is also very key in the structure of the Ikenne Traditional Council. The nomination and installation of Chief Mrs Bola Kinoshi as the Yeye Oge is in appreciation of his “unprecedented philanthropic gestures within and outside Ogun State.” On many occasions, she has been described as a reputable human capacity builder whose impact has been felt by all and sundry and all in recognition of her goodness to mankind and humanity; contribution to economic advancement and development without any form of solicitation.
There was wide jubilation at Ikenne Remo following the conferment of chieftaincy title on Chief Mrs Bola Kinoshi, for his community development services by the Ikenne Traditional Rulers’ Council. Chief Mrs Bola Kinoshi was born in early sixty in Ijebu Ode to Chief Folami and Idowu Owolana of Ikenne Remo. She started her elementary education at St. Augustine Primary School, Ijebu Ode before proceeding to Our Lady’s of Apostles Secondary School her secondary education.
After her secondary school education, she got employed to the Lagos State Broadcasting Corp (Radio Lagos) before joining the Nigerian Tribune Newspaper in Ibadan but later ventured into business. Speaking shortly before the conferment, the Alakenne Of Ikenne-Remo, HRM Oba Adeyinka Onakade, Moruwafu 1, said that God created man in His likeness to continue good works on earth.
The monarch also said, “Chief Mrs Bola Kinoshi, has manifested God’s likeness in him by working hard to make our community better through community development initiatives.
“I thank God on his behalf because he has become a source of God’s blessings to our community. By this chieftaincy conferment on her by Ikenne community, she has written her name on the marble as a champion of development in our community.
“Let her be an example to lkenne sons and daughters who are equally successful in their respective endeavours to think-home and bring development to our community. God always rewards people who bless others by their positions in the society and Chief Mrs Bola Kinoshi would not be an exception. “Because she has blessed Ikenne land, we are clothing her with our magnificent traditional regalia as we equally confer on her, the traditional title of ‘Yeye Oge,” the monarch said.
