Temitope Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, has criticized the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, following the revelation by the Chicago State University.
Ajayi described Atiku as an indecent man, stressing that Tinubu offered him shelter when former President Olusegun Obasanjo ‘stripped him naked’.
He noted that nobody should subject their friend to such stress as Atiku put Tinubu through.
In a post on X, the media aide recalled how Tinubu helped Atiku when former President Olusegun Obasanjo fought him.
Atiku had gone to court in the United States to demand Tinubu’s certificate from the Chicago State University.
Making the certificate public, the institution confirmed that Tinubu attended CSU.
Reacting, Ajayi wrote: “For me, the issue is not whether President Tinubu graduated from Chicago State University or not.
“It is the fact that former Vice President Atiku is not a decent man.
“Nobody should subject his or her friend to the level of assault and indignity he has subjected President Tinubu to because of earthly position and contestation for power.
“We are talking of a Tinubu that had moved mountains for Atiku in the past.
“A Tinubu that offered Atiku a shelter when he was thoroughly beaten by rain and stripped naked by President Obasanjo and his party PDP in 2007.
“No friend should become what Ekiti people call ‘aleni mo deyin’, a relentless pursuer like former VP Atiku regardless of the prize!”
