Champions League quarter-final: 2 matches we could see shock results this week

The UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg fixtures will take place today and tomorrow.

Benfica will host Inter Milan on Tuesday night, while Manchester City will face Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium.

Real Madrid will host Chelsea at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night, while AC Milan will tackle Napoli at San Siro.

However, Newsmen is predicting that fans could be presented with unexpected results from the above-mentioned UEFA Champions League last-8 fixtures this week.

Benfica vs Inter Milan:
This match will take place on Tuesday night at Estádio da Luz (old).

Benfica head to the game after losing 2-1 at home against Porto in the Portuguese League last Friday, while Inter Milan drew 1-1 against Salernitana last Friday in the Serie A.

Both teams have met three times in a competitive game, with Inter winning one and drawing two of the games against Benfica.

Benfica currently sits top of the Portuguese League, while Inter Milan is in the fifth position on the Serie A table.

Benfica failed to win their last game. However, they could surprise the Serie A giants in Portugal as they will be playing in front of their home fans.

The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm.

Real Madrid vs Chelsea:
This Champions League last-8 clash will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea head to the game after losing 1-0 against Wolves in the Premier League, while Real Madrid lost 3-2 against Villarreal in La Liga last Saturday.

The Blues currently sit in the 11th position on the Premier League table, while Carlo Ancelotti’s side is in second position on the La Liga table.

Both teams have met four times in the past. Chelsea have won two, drew one and lost one against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

However, Chelsea could pull a surprise result by playing a draw or beating Los Blancos in Spain. The west London club have never lost against the La Liga champions at Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League in the past. Maybe history will repeat itself again.

The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm.
