CAF Confederation Cup: Ghanaian star, Acquah reacts to Rivers United’s win against DC Motema Pembe

Paul Acquah has reflected on Rivers United’s 1-0 win against DC Motema Pembe in their CAF Confederation Cup clash on Sunday.

The midfielder scored the decisive goal at 53 minutes to hand the Pride of Rivers all three points in the keenly contested game.

Stanley Eguma’s side moved to the first position in Group B following the hard-fought win.

Acquah stated that he was happy to score the winning goal that ensure victory for his side.

” I’m happy about the goal that I scored and I thank God for scoring the goal and winning the game for my team, “Acquah said.

“I think everyone is working hard for the team.”

Rivers United will confront same opponent on matchday four at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
