Buhari sends message to Marwa on 68th birthday

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Gen. Muhammad Buba Marwa as he clocks 68-years-old.

The president in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina, appreciated the NDLEA boss for his fight in repositioning the NDLEA, sanitising the streets, and re-orienting youths on dangers of substance abuse.

Buhari also acknowledged Marwa’s effort to end drug abuse and trafficking in the country.

The president also praised Marwa for his service to the country as former Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee for the Elimination of Drug Abuse (PACEDA) and Ambassador to South Africa and Kingdoms of Lesotho and Swaziland.

Marwa was also a former military governor of old Borno State and military administrator of Lagos State.

The president prayed for his well-being and that of his family.
