Boy wanted for brutally murdering step-mother in self-defense

A boy identified as Okoria Frank, 24, has been declared wanted for allegedly macheting his stepmother Mrs Efatah Okoria, 45, to death in a tragic incident stemming from long-standing family tensions.

Okoria Frank, 24, a resident of Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria. found himself in a life-threatening altercation with his step-mother.

The 24-year-old, who hails from a polygamous household, endured years of animosity due to his mother Mrs Ehime Okoria being the second wife and bearing male children, while the first wife Mrs Efatah Okoria bore female children igniting jealousy within the family upon realisation that family property will be handed to the second wife’s male children upon the father’s demise.

Frank, being the first son, became the target of his step-mother’s resentment, leading to daily confrontations and physical abuse.

The situation escalated on the fateful day of February 27, 2015, when the altercation took a deadly turn.

In an act of self-defense, Frank resorted to using a machete to fend off his step-mother, who had attacked him with a pestle.

Tragically, the confrontation resulted in a brutal battle as Frank’s matchet cut deep into his step-mother and she died instantly.

Fearing the consequences, Frank fled the scene, leaving behind a community shocked by the violence that erupted within their midst.

And now he has been declared wanted!
