Out of the 646 awardees to be honoured at Harbour Points Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Fifteen (15) would be Honorary Fellows; Four Hundred and Twenty-two (422) would be Fellows and Two Hundred and Nine (209) would be Honorary Senior Members of the Institute.
According to a statement by the Head of Corporate Communication & Brand Management of the Institute, Mrs. Folake Akintayo, the honour is in recognition of the awardees’ meritorious services, commitment to professional responsibilities and valuable contributions to the industry and the economy at large.
President, Nigerian Economic Society, Prof. Adeola Adenikinju, will deliver the keynote address titled: ‘‘Maximising the Potentials of the Nigerian Economy: Policy Options, Challenges & Prospects.”
The event will have His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor, Nasarawa State as the Special Guest of Honour and it is expected to attract stakeholders in the industry including captains of industry, top government and diplomatic officials, financial decision makers, top management staff of banks, academics, professional institutions, senior members and including well- wishers.
Dr. Stella Chinyelu Okoli, OON, Group Managing Director/CEO, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited will also be the Chairman of the occasion while Prof Pius Deji Olanrewaju, FCIB, The President/Chairman of Council will be the Chief Host supported by Akin Morakinyo, Registrar/CEO, CIBN.
