The family of 69-year-old businessman, Adegbuyi Fashola Badmus, has been thrown into mourning as they discovered he was among several people killed by bandits in the attack on Kaura town in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna.

Adegbuyi, an automobile dealer, was from Ekiti State but based in Kaura.

A family source disclosed that he was with his son, Adegbuyi Oluseun, when he was caught in the attack on the community.

According to the source, it was not known to the family that he was killed in the attack until his body was discovered by a family member when they went to identify the bodies of the casualties of the attack in the hospital.

Another family member, who didn’t want his name in print, said they were not sure if some people were abducted by the bandits while leaving because they neither saw the body of the son nor heard from him since the incident happened.

When our correspondent contacted the police command in the state on the issue, they said their men were on the trail of the perpetrators, assuming that they would be arrested and made to face the wrath of the law.

However, the whereabouts of Adegbuyi Oluseun is yet to be known.
