Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has deeply commiserated with the family of former Head of Service of Benue State, Dr Fidelis Anweh who died on Saturday last week.
In a press release signed by Terver Akase, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ortom and made available to Nigerian NewDirect on Monday described the late Dr Anweh as an experienced administrator who made selfless contributions to the growth of the state civil service.
He stated that Dr Anweh was a peace builder and seasoned public servant who believed in human capital development.
Governor Ortom further said Benue will miss the wise counsel of the former Head of Service, especially now that his administration is repositioning the service for greater efficiency.
He prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
