Benue presidential election: APC candidate emerges victorious

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has again defeated his co – contestants in the presidential polls conducted across the 23 local government areas of Benue State.
Professor Farouk Kuta , the returning officer for Benue State 2023 Presidential election declared the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the election for having pulled the highest votes.
He explained that the presidential election conducted across the 23 local government areas of the state has a total of 2, 772, 977 registered voters, total valid votes is given as 770,075, rejected votes 27,687 while the
total votes cast is 797,762.
Prof. Farouk revealed that four out of the political parties that participated in the presidential polls with their respective votes are as follows;
APC …310, 468
LP …. 308, 372
NNPP…4, 740
PDP ….130,081.
Nigerian NewsDirect reports that APC presidential candidate won the Benue State Presidential election with the highest votes, while Labour Party came second in the race.
