Benue: Alia inaugurates planning committee for Tinubu’s visit

The Benue State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of the 2023 Governorship election  on Thursday inaugurated the Central Planning Committee for the visit of the party’s Presidential candidate and his campaign train to Benue State with a charge to give their best to make the visit a successful and memorable one.

In a press release signed by Kula Tersoo Director Communication Alialization – Alia/Ode Campaign Organization ’23 revealed that the Presidential Campaign Council of the APC has scheduled to visit the State for her Campaign tour on the 26th January 2023.

Inaugurating the 49 member Committee headed by the former Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Steven Lawani OFR, Alia said, “You should bear in mind that it is by your outstanding patriotism to our party that you could not be ignored when the time to put a team together for this epoch-making assignment came.

“I invite members to give their best, as they are chosen as the best among the best of the party in the State.

“You have six days to deliver on your mandate. We will be having meetings back to back, and you can’t be excused. If anyone feels he cannot withstand heat or pressure, it will not be an offense for you to resign right today and here,”  the APC Governorship hopeful stated.

He outlined other subcommittees to be appointed to aid the work to include, venue, transportation, publicity, security, logistics, entertainment, refreshment, medical, finance, and accommodation.

He also announced that all members of the Presidential Campaign Council from the State are automatic members of the CPC and all the ad-hoc committees to be announced in 24hrs.
