Belgore donates special wheelchairs to people living with disability

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior – Dr Shuaib Belgore, today rendered special humanitarian service to some people living with disabilities through their Union – the Association of Graduates Applicants/Workers with Disabilities.

Dr Belgore announced his special donation to those concerned while receiving the Executive Members of Association of Graduates Applicants/Workers with Disabilities who  paid him a courtesy visit in his Office in  Abuja on Friday.

Dr Belgore noted that himself, his family together with members of his staff considered it a honour to render this invaluable support to the Association through donation of special wheel chairs to their needy member.

According to the Permanent Secretary, the disabled in our country deserve necessary support fom both the government and public spirited people in the society.

He therefore promised to continue to do his best  to make life meaningful to people living with disabilities in order to make them useful to themselves and being able to contribute their quota to national development.

In his response, the President of the Association, Dr Godstime Onyegbulam appreciated the PS and other staff of the Ministry who made it possible for them to receive the needed support.

He  prayed that God will bless and reward them abundantly.

Among dignitories present at the presentation were the Director of Human Resources, Mr Peter Onu Onoja; the Director, Special Duties,  Mr Olufunsho Alabi and some senior staff of the Ministry.
