Rangers International FC of Enugu has advised its players invited for the Super Eagles international friendly match against Mexico on June 3 to be good ambassadors of the club.
The Media Officer of the club, Norbert Okolie said in Enugu on Wednesday that the aim was to ensure the players excel during and after the friendly match.
Okolie said the four players, who were already at the Super Eagles’ camp, were the club Captain, Tope Olusesi, Tony Shimaga, Chinonso Eziekwe and Ibrahim Olawoyin.
“We are proud of the players called up to the Eagles’ camp and that shows they are doing well in the ongoing season.
“One thing is to be called up and another is to play yourself into the team and we pray for them to have a stake in the final team,” Okolie said.
He said the players were told to obey the camp rules and to give their 100 per cent to the success of the team.
Okolie noted that Rangers FC had players who would replace them in the coming matches.
“We have players in all the positions who are ready to take their positions.
“Those that will replace the invitees know that the next match is a must win because the management has made it known to the players that any more slip will cause the club a lot for the remainder of the season,” he said.
