This was revealed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Auwal Musa Mohammed, while briefing journalists on the performance of the Command in the year 2024, at the Command headquarters.

The CP said the efforts led to the recovery of N784,000 from officers found guilty of misconduct, while the recovered funds were returned to the affected victims.

Among the actions taken, one Police constable was dismissed, four officers had their ranks reduced, six personnel received warning letters, and four others were reprimanded.

According to him, the CRU received ten complaints in 2024, all of which were thoroughly investigated.

The CP reaffirmed the command’s dedication to enforcing discipline and ensuring accountability within its ranks to foster public trust and enhance service delivery.

“A total of eighteen personnel have undergone internal disciplinary measures, demonstrating our dedication to maintaining high operational standards.
