Bauchi: Police apprehend three suspected armed robbers

Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have reported the arrest of three suspects linked to an armed robbery in the Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
In a statement on Wednesday, Police Public Relations Officer Ahmed Wakil identified the suspects as Ahmad Musa, 20, Tijjani Abdullahi, 20, and Danladi Aliyu, 30.
Wakil stated that the suspects were arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy, breaking and entering, and armed robbery.
He explained that in July 2024, the suspects, along with four others—Ismail Kawuwa, Sadiq Kange, Adamu Dan Kamfani, and Attahir (who remains at large)—colluded to unlawfully enter the home of Malumi in Misau LGA, Bauchi State.
He stated, “Armed with locally made pistols and seven rounds of live ammunition, they robbed Malumi of N250,000, three mobile phones, and an unknown quantity of recharge cards from various networks.”
The PPRO emphasised that “Ahmad Musa was apprehended by the Rapid Response Squad while in possession of a makeshift pistol and seven rounds of live ammunition. During interrogation, the suspects admitted their involvement in the crime.”
