Barcelona President, Laporta identifies four players not good enough for club

Barcelona President, Joan Laporta has reportedly identified four players who are not good enough to remain at the club after the team’s humiliating 4-0 Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Real Madrid thrashed Barcelona at Camp Nou in the Copa del Rey to advance to the final.

Karim Benzema scored a hat trick while Vinicius Jr. netted a goal against Barca.

Real Madrid will now face Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final.

However, according to Catalan outlet El Nacional, Laporta has been left disappointed by Barcelona’s performance and has marked four players as not competent enough for the club.

The four players are Raphinha, who joined Barcelona from Leeds United last summer, Frank Kessie, who joined the Catalan club from AC Milan, Marcos Alonso, who also joined the club from Chelsea and Sergi Roberto.

The report added that in addition to the four players, Laporta was also disappointed with Sergio Busquets and Robert Lewandowski’s display against Real Madrid.
