Australia-based Nigerian donates 55-inch TV set to Nigeria Football Supporters Club

The Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) on Thursday received the latest 55- inch Samsung Flat Screen Television set from Jude Agboma, its member in Diaspora.

The gift was received by the club’s National Chairman, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, at the club’s secretariat, Barracks Bus Stop, Funso Williams Avenue, Lagos, from the donor’s younger brother.

The younger Agboma said his elder brother made the donation in appreciation of the total commitment and discipline the club members had exhibited while supporting Nigerian footballers locally and internationally.

“The TV set is to further boost the Activities of other football games beside creating a more sophisticated relaxation and meeting point at the secretariat near both the National and Teslim Balogun Stadia,” he said.

An elated Ikpea expressed happiness at the gift and gratitude to Agboma whom he described as a credible and committed member in faraway Australia.

“I am very happy. In short I lack words to describe the kind gesture of Mr Agboma who is a committed and reliable member of this proactive football club.

“This giant TV is a big motivation to all members particularly now that football is gradually returning fully after the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic,’’ Ikpea said.

“I pray that God will bless Agboma and others that have added value to the club, this shows that people are taking cognisance of our activities,” he said.

Ikpea, who also thanked other members for their donations, also prayed for more corporate support as the club would begin massive support for the Super Eagles in their FIFA World Cup qualifiers soon.

Other donations to the club include six brand new Yamaha Trumpets donated by Russia-based member who wished to remain anonymous.
