AUPCTRE elects new leaders in Jigawa

The Amalgamation Union of Public Corporation Civil Service Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) has elected new leaders to run the affairs of the union in Jigawa State.
The election was held on Tuesday at the health worker union Secretariat in Dutse.
National President, AUPCTRE, Benjamin Anthony charged all the delegates to actively participate in the conference by being sincere to discuss issues that are pertinent to the progress of the members and that of the union at large.
He reminded the members that AUPCTRE is greater than any individual, adding that the members must work as a family, devoid of sentiment.
He also charged the members to be committed and honest in service delivery.
The newly elected exco include Comrade shehu Ubale as the Chairman; Saminu H Isah as Vice Chairman one; Muhd Uba as Vice Chairman two, and Idris Musa Bulangu as the Treasurer of the union.
While Aliyu Musa will serve as the Secretary of the Finance, Husaini Adamu was elected as the Sect Admin and Saminu Yusif elected as the Internal Auditor.
Others include Aliyu Muhd, ex officio; Magani Yusif, ex officio and Nasiru Abdulrahaman also ex officio while Mustapha Garba will serve as the state secretary.
In his words after the election, the Special Adviser to the state Governor Badaru Abubakar on Labour Matters, Ibrahim kwayamawa, said the government is ready to support public servants in the state.
He assured that the deputy governor who is currently contesting for governorship position under the All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue from wherever Governor Badaru stops for the progress of the state.
