Attahiru: Buhari orders flag to fly at half mast, holiday for military

President Muham madu Buhari has authorised that the National Flag should fly at half mast in honour of the late Chief of Army Staff and ten others who died in a plane crash.
The directive of the President of disclosed by the Secretary to the Federal Government, Boss Mustapha on Sunday.
According to the statement, the National Flag would fly at half-mast in all public buildings, facilities, and official residences.
The directive is in honour of the late Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, and the ten officers that lost their lives in a plane crash during an official mission.
According to Mustapha, the President has approved Monday as a public holiday for the Armed Forces.
