ASUS launches new Zenbook 14 OLED series 

ASUS, the Taiwanese TvTech giants, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, virtually launched the new Zenbook 14 OLED series which is designed to be ‘your everyday laptop’.

The new series has been upgraded with the new 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1260P processor, ThunderboltTM 4 to enable fast charging and finger print sensor for security purposes.

Speaking during the launch, Samson Hu, the ASUS co-CEO said that ASUS always has always been about the incredible. “ASUS has continuously pushed the industry into uncharted territories. Time after time, we have delivered innovative creations which are out of this world.”

Coming in two colours – aqua celadon and ponder blue, the new range are built for convenience and functionality. Commenting on the new range, Hsi Chen, ASUS design Centre and Design Strategy Manager explained that the new Zenbook inspired by the hues, designs and synergy of nature to recreate the essence of modern minimalism.

The laptop features the 12th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors, which supports ASUS Intelligent Performance Technology (AIPT), contributing to boost the CPU performance.

The chassis of the new Zenbook 14 OLED series is made of aluminium alloy and features ASUS new monogram design on the lid with two – colour option.

Two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports with up to 40 Gbps bandwidth, a standard HDMI 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card reader. Also features build-in dualband WiFi 6E (802.11ax) wireless network card with ASUS WiFi Master Premium technology.

The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED features a keyboard with ASUS ErgoSense design, providing users a comfortable typing experience. The keyboard 19.05 mm pitch, 0.2 mm dish-shaped indentation, and 1.4mm key travel improve the overall typing accuracy and experience.

For unrivaled audio quality, the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED series has a stereo dual-speaker sound system certified by Harman Kardon and Dolby Atmos. The volume-enhancing, distortion-suppressing smart amplifier is equipped with a powerful DSP chip that can drive the twin speakers at the maximum volume possible while preventing long-term damage to the sensitive speaker voice coils.

The 2.8K resolution display, features a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 0.2ms response time, 90Hz refresh rate and has been certified by VESA DisplayHDR™ 500 True Black, to support up to 550-nit of peak brightness and 0.0005 nits of deep black brightness, providing creators with a brighter and more detailed viewing experience. A 16:10 aspect ratio and 90 per cent screen to body ratio improve the sense of immersion.
