The Keffi Old Boys’ Association (KOBA) has commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for reappointing one of its members, Alhaji Mohammed DanAzumi, as Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
This is contained in a statement issued by the association’s Spokesperson, Jibrin Gwamna, and made available to newsmen in Keffi on Monday.
The statement quoted the KOBA President, Mr Umar Shehu, as describing the appointment of Musa-Dan’Azumi as well-deserved, considering his track records of service in the state.
The association congratulated the SUBEB Chairman, urging him to continue to build on the foundation he had already laid in primary education and wishing him God’s guidance and protection.
“Alhaji Mohammed Dan’Azumi, the SUBEB chairman is a KOBA member and he is doing us proud.
“His appointment is well-deserved, considering his policies and programmes which had improved the standard of education in the state.
“We wish him well and we will continue to support him in order to succeed,” he said.
The association also commended the Speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi and members of the House of Assembly for confirming Dan’Azumi as SUBEB chairman.
The association reassured the state government that KOBA would continue to do its best in complementing its efforts towards uplifting the standard of education and other sectors in the state.
