Similarly, the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, speaking to Newsmen said  “Considering how people are eager to go for this registration because so many new entrants are in the party now but without registration.”

“Also few ones that had left, their names are not been deleted and there are many young men whose names have reached for them to be registered anf they would be registered. So, I believe we are going to have a very effective and efficient registration process and we will end up with very high member that are registered.”Ganduje said,

Also speaking exclusively to NewsDirect, Senator Zwingina Jonathan, he said “the membership drive is going to test the size of the party and give us the idea of what numbers we have, so that we can plan properly for the various congresses  coming up and even for the national election itself. other parties can copy from us.”
