APC holds final rally in Ife, urges electorate to vote Oyetola

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ile-Ife have taken campaign for re-election of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to all nooks and crannies of the ancient city harps on the need to re-elect the Governor for second term in office.

The campaign train which moves from Moore, Fajuyi, Sabo, Oluorogbo to Lagere roads and inner city of Ile Ife, urging residents to vote Oyetola in the Saturday, July 16 Governorship election.

Supporters of the party also troupe out en mass to join the campaign train amis pump and peagiantry. Some market women who are elated promised to work for the re-election of the Governor, saying Ile Ife is ready to vote Oyetola and enjoying the reciprocate it by completing all ongoing road projects in the ancient town.

“The state of infrastructural developments in Ile-Ife is poor, most of the roads constitute death trap but we are going to vote for him massively on Saturday.

“We are expecting him to use his second term to develop Ile-Ife, so that he (Oyetola) will be in good book history of Ile-Ife.

“He is a gentle man with cognate experience in the art of governance. He has been tested and trusted. I am convinced that the Governor will not disappoint Ile-Ife people.”

Most of the political officeholders attended the rally which added glamour to the campaign and promised to work for the success of the party on Saturday.

“Oyetola has done well in his first term and would continue to take the state to its enviable height. The governor has done well in Ile Ife in terms of infrastructural development and other areas of the economy.

“Go to your polling unit on the day of election and vote for APC. We are one party and there is no division in APC, we are one in Ile-Ife. Vote Oyetola for continuity. The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has given us royal blessing and told us to go ahead.”
