APC Chieftain condemns Osun PDP Chairman over alleged violence threat

A security expert, socio-political commentator and chieftain of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adeyi has condemned Mr Sunday Bisi, Osun State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over his alleged death threat against citizens of the state.

In a video circulating on Whatsapp, the PDP Chairman was seen at a meeting of the PDP at Awo, the headquarters of Egbedore Local Government Council Area of the state instructing members of his party to deal ruthlessly with anyone or group of people who go about or hold meetings under the nomenclature of ‘Atunto.’

The APC Chieftain responding to the video described the PDP Chairman as a disgrace to Ijesaland while calling on the state commissioner of police to order Bisi’s immediate invitation and subsequent arrest.

The security expert stated that the conduct of the Osun PDP titular head makes him the black sheep and bad ambassador of the Ijesa people who are known for their civility to issues.

Adeyi pointed out that the combative attitude of Sunday Bisi exposed his likely complicity in the killings of no fewer than 30 APC members killed in the last electioneering by the killer squad of the state PDP.

In the words of the APC chieftain: “One wonders what could have emboldened the state PDP chairman to have taken to the recommendation of death and violence for the PDP members to settle political scores.

“It is on record that Sunday Bisi, never for once, condemned the brutal killings of his fellow Ijesa sons and daughters during the violence-ridden sham called elections where the opposition members were slaughtered by the PDP thugs like rams in order to rig the elections.

“Sunday Bisi who does not have statutory immunity should behave himself and stop conducting himself as if he is greater than the laws of the land.”

“It is expedient for the police to go after the state PDP chairman with a view to checkmating him and his co-travellers before they attack and kill all the people of the state in the name of playing  politics”, Adeyi stated.

Adeyi also noted how his hotel, Kwality Bar, Restaurant and Lodging, was maliciously pulled down by Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Commissioner for Environment, Mr Ganiyu Olaoluwa, along Ring Road, Osogbo, Osun State, seven days after the inauguration of the governor.

Adeyi vowed to follow the incident to a logical conclusion by formally notifying his primary constituency, the DSS and the police.
