APC chieftain, Ahmad Wudil demands dissolution of Zamfara exco
A concerned member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmad Dan Wudil has petitioned the National Secretariat of the party, agitating for the dissolution of the Zamfara State leadership of the party.
The petition, addressed to the Acting National chairman of the party and made available to reporters, stated that it contained conscious, sincere and objective analysis of the 2023 general elections.
“As a card carrying APC member in Zamfara state, I hereby petition to your good office that it is on record that APC won the presidential election in Zamfara State but lost the governorship election due to the sheer negligence of the State party leadership.
“It’s equally important to bring to your notice that the party from the ward, local government and state levels are not conducting Exco meetings as required by the party’s constitution, which resulted in the party finding itself in a comatose situation in the state.
“I also observed with dismay that since the state party chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani assumed office, he has not even spared his time to be in the office which indicates lack of commitment,” he claimed.
He said based on the alleged facts, “Zamfara APC members urge you to invoke the power vested in you by the party’s constitution, to dissolve the party leadership from the ward, local government and state levels for the party to be united and formidable.”
