Anonymous whistle blower PIDOMNIGERIA reportedly missing

Concerns are mounting on social media regarding the disappearance of PIDOM Nigeria, an anonymous whistleblower who was reported missing by investigative journalist David Hundeyin. Hundeyin suspects foul play and has expressed his worries on PIDOM’s X.com account, suggesting that the whistleblower’s disappearance might be linked to Nigerian authorities.

Pro-democracy activist Omoyele Sowore has also intervened, demanding PIDOM’s immediate release. In a recent X.com post, Sowore condemned the alleged abduction and secret detention of PIDOM by forces associated with the Nigerian government, urging action to secure his release.

Hundeyin, in an article titled “SOS Alert: PIDOM NIGERIA Is Missing (And I Think We May Know Who Has Him),” revealed that a message from PIDOM’s account—supposedly sent by a close associate—stated that PIDOM was arrested on August 5 in Port Harcourt and later moved to the Force Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja. The message included instructions to use PIDOM’s account if anything happened to him.

Hundeyin discovered discrepancies in the provided login details, which heightened his suspicions of government involvement. Despite these issues, he was eventually able to access PIDOM’s account, secure it, and prevent unauthorized access, which he believes indicates a deliberate attempt to undermine his efforts.

Hundeyin and PIDOM never met in person, but Hundeyin is now deeply concerned for PIDOM’s safety, fearing he may be in serious danger or even deceased. He has called for public awareness and action, emphasizing the need to reveal any potential government attempts to silence PIDOM.

PIDOM’s disappearance has garnered significant attention online, with over 265,000 followers on X.com, and has sparked a trending campaign using hashtags like #PIDOM, #FreePidom, and #WhereisPidom.
