A retired civil servant,
Mrs Bolajoko Idowu has raised the alarm ,as she hinted that attempts were still going on to harm her niece over an alleged offence.
Mrs Idowu ,who until her retirement worked with the Ogun State government made this known when she visited the Iwe Iroyin,Abeoluta secretariat of the Ogun State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists for a chat with Journalists
The woman explained that her Niece ,Opeoluwa Alabi and her children were still living in fear and anxiety,after she was found with one of her friends,Abayomi Oluwaseun in a” romantic sexual action”
Recall that some Youths in the Olokuta community had a couple of months ago,caused pandemonium in their community as they protested the involvement of Opeoluwa Alabi in alleged bisexual activity
“There had been very frantic but futile attempts by these youths to get my Niece apprehended and handed over to law enforcement agencies for prosecution” the 62 year old retiree posited .
She noted that more than five times,since April this year,the youths had visited her residence in Roolu ,Obantoko,with dangerous weapons ,warning her of very serious consequences should her Niece refused to hand her self over to the police for prosecution.
“The whole development is currently having a serious effect on my health as I can no longer sleep with my two eyes closed,with the threats by these youths” Mrs Idowu said
The last time they came to my house they met children,Adeola and Oyindamola and I threatening to kill us if we did not produce Opeoluwa and since then my children had relocated to another community,for fear of possible attack” Mrs Idowu lamented.
She opined that security operatives should step into the matter, to ensure sanity and decorum in the approach of the youths who vowed that were coming back to her,in search of her niece.
