The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited, NLNG, Leye Falade, has stated that the company operates on a bedrock of global integrity, driven by institutional ethics and ethos designed to stand the test of scrutiny anywhere across the world.

Falade made this disclosure on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the corporate headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) where he met with the anti-graft agency’s Executive Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, to commend the commission’s recent strides in curbing financial crimes.

Emphasizing the company’s commitment to flawless corporate governance, Falade explained that the NLNG has proactively integrated internal mechanisms and strict governance structures modeled after anti-corruption ideals.

These benchmarks ensure that all agreements, commercial transactions, and partnerships are executed with absolute fairness, equity, and strict adherence to international regulations.

He noted that maintaining an unblemished reputation is vital not just for the organization, but for the international branding of Nigeria as a destination for clean, transparent business.

He assured the EFCC boss that the gas company remains firmly in the trenches with the commission, committed to staying above board and preserving a corporate culture that meets the highest international standards.

In his response, the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, lauded the enduring ethical values that the NLNG has demonstrated over the years.

Acknowledging that the oil and gas sector remains a primary pillar of the Nigerian economy, Olukoyede extended a hand of fellowship to the Falade-led management team, stressing that the commission is eager to collaborate with compliant corporate bodies that contribute significantly to the national GDP.

The anti-graft boss reiterated that his primary objective is to use economic stimulation and preventative frameworks, such as the Fraud Risk Assessment and Control department, to safeguard organizations from internal compromises and ensure long-term corporate hygiene.
