Transcorp Group posts ₦413.4bn revenue in Q3 2025

Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), one of Africa’s leading listed conglomerates, has reported a strong performance for the third quarter of 2025, driven by growth across its power and hospitality businesses.

According to the company’s unaudited financial results released on Monday, revenue rose by 39 per cent year-on-year to ₦413.4 billion, compared to ₦297.7 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2024. 

The impressive performance was attributed to higher power generation capacity at the Group’s power plants and the expansion of its hospitality operations, including the launch of the 5,000-capacity Transcorp Centre Abuja.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased by 18 per cent to ₦124.5 billion, up from ₦105.5 billion recorded in Q3 2024, while Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 20.5 per cent to ₦91.4 billion, compared to ₦75.9 billion in the same period last year.

The Group maintained a gross profit margin of 48 person cent, reflecting disciplined cost management, operational efficiency, and strategic pricing across its business units.

Commenting on the results, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Plc, Dr. Owen Omogiafo, OON, said the company’s performance demonstrates the successful execution of its corporate strategy and sustained momentum across sectors.

“Transcorp Group’s Q3 2025 results highlight our operational excellence, strategic direction, and portfolio-wide efficiency.

“In power generation and distribution, we are helping close Nigeria’s energy deficit, while in hospitality, we are redefining excellence through world-class facilities like the Transcorp Centre Abuja. 

We remain focused on delivering long-term value to our shareholders and driving the transformation of Nigeria’s economy.”

Also speaking on the performance, Tony O. Elumelu, CFR, Chairman of Transnational Corporation Plc, noted that the Group’s robust earnings and revenue growth underscore its resilience and value creation capacity.
