Titilayo Oshodi is many things: an administrative executive, a change management leader, a green economist, and a social reformer. But beyond the impressive titles, she is a woman defined by depth, discipline, and a rare commitment to nation-building.
Titilayo currently serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Climate Change and Circular Economy. This critical role places her at the heart of environmental policy and sustainability in Africa’s largest city. She stands uniquely at the intersection of climate action, governance, and economic innovation, shaping conversations that are not merely visionary, but practical and people-focused.
In a world where climate change often feels like a distant global agenda, she is successfully localising solutions, connecting policy to people, and translating sustainability into everyday action.
Long before stepping into public office, leadership had already defined her journey. She began her career in marketing, rising consistently through the ranks from Independent Sales Director to General Manager delivering results with excellence across diverse organisations.
Her transition into governance was natural, as impact had always been her compass. She later served as the Senior Special Assistant on Administration to the Governor of Lagos State, using her office to drive conversations around leadership values, mindset transformation, responsible citizenship, and youth development.
Titilayo is fundamentally driven by one conviction: when you empower people, you build stronger societies. This belief compels her to invest deeply in youth leadership and social reform through mentorship and civic education programmes. She is known for challenging young Nigerians to rise above excuses and build their futures with integrity.
Away from her official role, she leads meaningful conversations that shape society. She hosts “Talks With Titilayo,” a YouTube series that spotlights individuals creating tangible impact. Demonstrating her commitment to substance over spectacle, she marked her 50th birthday not with a party, but by convening a thought leadership symposium on Strategic Management and Leadership Impact to address the decline of values and productivity in society. Intentional, purpose-driven, and value-centered, she exemplifies a woman who understands that influence must be used to build capacity.
Her strategic competence was also crucial in the political arena, where she served as the Campaign Office Administrator for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s election campaigns, coordinating teams and operations with quiet precision.
In the sustainability space today, Titilayo is championing a crucial message: environmental leadership must be inclusive, human-centered, and practical. Her work actively bridges climate action with community development, advocating not just for greener policies but for a demonstrably better future for residents.
Titilayo Oshodi is a woman of grace, competence, and conviction. As she chases value, influences systems, and builds people, she continues to prove that impact is not what you do occasionally, it is who you choose to be every day. She leads. She builds. She empowers. She is a Thriving Woman.
