The Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, on Wednesday threatened to lead a protest over the outcome of the recently conducted All Progressives Congress primaries in Lagos State, alleging that the exercise was manipulated in favour of the Justice Forum bloc within the party.
Tinubu-Ojo made the allegation during the weekly meeting of market leaders and stakeholders held at her office in Alausa, Ikeja.
She specifically faulted the results announced for Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Agege Constituency 2, and Ojokoro constituencies, insisting that the process did not reflect the true wishes of party members.
According to her, some aspirants and party loyalists were unfairly treated during the primaries, warning that aggrieved members might be forced to stage a protest if necessary steps were not taken to address their complaints.
The Lagos State chapter of the APC on Monday released the list of successful candidates for the House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
