Tinubu unbeatable in Adamawa ahead of 2027 — APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State and aspirant for the Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aliyu Abbati, has declared that President Bola Tinubu enjoys overwhelming support in the state and is well-positioned to secure a decisive victory in the 2027 presidential election.

Abbati made the assertion on Monday while speaking with journalists in Yola, insisting that the President’s administration had earned the goodwill of the people of Adamawa through strategic appointments and policies that directly benefit the state.

The APC stalwart, who is an agricultural scientist, economist, and policy strategist, said the appointment of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as National Security Adviser, alongside several other key federal appointments given to indigenes of the state, had significantly strengthened support for the Tinubu administration.

According to him, Adamawa has witnessed unprecedented recognition under the current government.

“My advice to the President is to concentrate his campaign efforts on other states because Adamawa is already secured. Ribadu has done enough to guarantee the President’s victory in the state,” Abbati said.

He noted that the recent appointment of Abdulrazaq Namdas as Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency further demonstrated the President’s commitment to empowering competent sons and daughters of Adamawa.

Abbati argued that no previous administration had accorded the state such a level of representation at the federal level, adding that the people were prepared to reciprocate the gesture with massive electoral support.

The APC leader also highlighted the creation of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development as one of Tinubu’s most impactful initiatives, describing it as a game-changer for agrarian states such as Adamawa.

He maintained that the ministry has the potential to unlock enormous economic opportunities, create jobs, and transform rural communities, particularly those dependent on livestock production.

According to him, the initiative would not only boost economic growth but also help tackle insecurity by addressing poverty and unemployment among rural youths who are often vulnerable to recruitment by criminal groups.

On the security situation in the country, Abbati called for a review of existing security strategies and greater deployment of technology in intelligence gathering and crime prevention.

He also advocated stronger community participation in security efforts, urging traditional rulers, local government authorities, and community leaders to work closely with security agencies in identifying and isolating criminal elements.

Describing the Tinubu administration as one of the most responsive governments in recent years, Abbati urged Nigerians to continue supporting the President’s programs, expressing confidence that they would yield greater dividends for the country in the years ahead.
