12 Nov 2025

Oluwatoyin Banjo (DTB), the Global Catalyst of Change, is an International Development Leader, and humanitarian visionary whose work continues to redefine what it means to lead with purpose.

For over 15 years, Oluwatoyin has stood at the crossroads of leadership, innovation, and transformation, building systems that work, shaping people who lead, and driving conversations that shift Africa’s narrative. She embodies what it means to lead with grace and grit, proving that vision without action is merely a dream.

Oluwatoyin’s journey started with a desire to fix what’s broken. She has always believed that development is not just about big policies or international aid, but about empowering people to solve problems within their own communities. That belief has guided every step of her journey.

She currently serves as the Program Director at Ideation Hub Africa, where she empowers changemakers, social entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, and policy shapers across more than 46 countries. Through her work, she nurtures an ecosystem of over 28,000 innovators, each inspired to drive sustainable impact and reimagine Africa’s future.

As the Founder of Managers Toolkit Africa, she is tackling one of the continent’s most pressing gaps, the need to upskill and reskill Africa’s workforce for relevance in a fast changing world. For Oluwatoyin, empowerment is practical; it’s not about rhetoric, but results.

Her influence extends beyond the corporate and development sectors. She serves as the Director of Ministry at Kingdom Leaders Global Alliance, where she continues to shape leaders guided by values, faith, and service. To her, leadership is not just about competence, it’s about character.

As an award-winning and globally recognized leader, Oluwatoyin’s excellence has earned her several awards including; the Royal African Young Leadership Award (2020) and a place among 100 Power Women (2024) shaping Africa’s future.

She is also a Fellow of the American Express Executive Leadership Academy (UK), Forbes BLK Member, Certified Management Consultant, and Certified IAC Masteries Coach, credentials that reflect both her intellect and her intentionality.

Oluwatoyin is a scholar at heart, she holds a First-Class B.Sc., an M.Sc., and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Development Communication. She is also a Lagos Business School alumna, constantly pushing the boundaries of learning and leadership.

Beyond her professional accolades, Oluwatoyin is also an author of the book, Tales of Civic Education for Young Children and Teenagers.

At the center of all she does lies an unshakable conviction: leadership is not a title, it’s a responsibility. Oluwatoyin leads with empathy, builds with precision, and serves with vision.

She strongly believes that you can shine brightly while serving.
