Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc, is intensifying efforts to boost financial literacy among young Nigerians through its flagship initiative, the InvestBeta programme.

The initiative is designed to equip participants with practical investment knowledge and decision-making skills, promoting a culture of financial empowerment and long-term wealth creation among Nigerian youth.

Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, Busola Jejelowo, emphasised the company’s commitment to financial education, especially for younger demographics.

“Today’s young people are seeking more than just advice—they want real, hands-on experience,” she said. “The InvestBeta game show is redefining how young Nigerians think about money and what they can achieve with it.”

Following a successful debut season in 2024, InvestBeta is set to return for a second season, with registration now open. The show blends entertainment and investment education in a fun, engaging, and competitive format that resonates strongly with Gen-Z audiences across the country.

“The first season captured widespread attention by making financial learning relatable and enjoyable. With strong feedback from viewers, it’s clear that young Nigerians are eager to gain control over their financial futures—they just need the right platform,” the company stated.

The initiative aligns with Stanbic IBTC’s broader youth-focused vision through Beyond Dreams, a community built for Nigerians aged 18 to 30. Since its inception, Beyond Dreams has attracted over 90,000 young members, generated more than 2,100 new investment accounts, and continues to support youth aspirations with smart, timely, and secure investment solutions.

Through initiatives like InvestBeta, Stanbic IBTC is positioning itself as a trusted partner in shaping the financial future of Nigeria’s next generation.
