The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria has rolled out a fully redesigned website, describing it as a major milestone in its drive to boost digital engagement, strengthen regulatory transparency, and enhance investor protection.
Announcing the development on Monday, the Commission said the upgraded platform features a sleek, mobile-responsive interface, improved navigation, and streamlined resources tailored for investors, market operators, and the general public.
SEC Director-General Emomotimi Agama stated that the redesign underscores the Commission’s determination to modernise its operations and make financial information more accessible.
“This digital advancement is a significant step in building a more transparent and accessible Commission,” Agama said. “It improves our interaction with the capital market and the investing public, and reflects our dedication to ongoing progress in service delivery and communication.”
Executive Commissioner for Corporate Services, Samiya Usman, added that the upgrade was not merely cosmetic.
“By simplifying access and structuring content more logically, we have developed a powerful platform that supports our mission to nurture and regulate a fair, efficient, and transparent capital market,” she explained.
The Commission called on stakeholders to explore the new platform and take advantage of its features to stay informed on regulatory updates, market developments, and investor services.
