The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday swore in 7 new Permanent Secretaries into the State Public Service and inaugurated the Chairman and members of the Health Service Commission.
The ceremony, held at the Banquet Hall of Lagos House, Ikeja, forms part of efforts to strengthen governance and service delivery across key sectors of the state.
Those sworn in as Permanent Secretaries include Engr. Adetunji Adeyemi Adesanya (Ministry of Urban Development), Mrs Olusola Bukonla Durodola (Local Government Service Commission), Mrs Oluwatoyin Olubunmi Oladeji (Cabinet Office), Mr Tiwalade Adeyinka Sorungbe (Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology), Arc. Bolanle Monica Olukareh (Office of Works), Dr Adenike Oluwafunmilayo Oluwo (Health District II), and Dr Babajide Olumuyiwa Martins (Bureau of Public Defender).
Governor Sanwo-Olu also inaugurated the Health Service Commission, with Dr Olukayode Olumuyiwa Oguntimehin appointed as Chairman, and other members of the commission are Dr Olusegun Abayomi Ogboye, Dr Omolaja Odushola Odunuga, Pharm. Dr Moyosore Wuraola Adejumo, and Dr (Mrs) Ololade Omolayo Fadipe.
The governor charged the appointees to uphold professionalism, accountability, and dedication in the discharge of their duties, noting that their roles are critical to the continued growth and development of the state, aligning with the administration’s vision of improving public service efficiency under the #GreaterLagosRising agenda.
