A pro-Tinubu 2027 group, Renewed Hope People Advocacy, has called on Nigerians to re-elect Pres. Bola Ahmed Tinubu to complete ongoing infrastructural development and human empowerment programmes.
The group inaugurated Chief Michael Duru Ejiogu as its National Patron in Abuja, alongside other executives.
The ceremony, held on Tuesday, drew party chieftains, youth and women mobilisers, and civil society allies, with organisers stating that the appointment is aimed at strengthening grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 polls.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Ejiogu pledged to mobilise support for Pres. Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing unity, issue-based engagement, and wider voter outreach across the six geo-political zones.
He said he would support the organisation in taking its advocacy to the grassroots by creating awareness of the President’s performance.
“Our task is to take the message of the achievements of President Tinubu to people who may not be aware of them and to support Mr. President to continue his work in 2027,” he said.
According to him, the President has performed well and deserves another term to complete ongoing infrastructural development and human capital empowerment programmes.
Chief Ejiogu, who is the Group Managing Director of CityGate Group of Companies, also spoke on collaboration with the government in providing housing schemes for Nigerians, noting that the organisation is contributing through Federal Capital Territory (FCT) programmes by allocating plots to developers.
“If you are aware, Mr. President has recently commissioned the Renewed Hope Housing Projects, which we are part of, aimed at bridging the housing deficit in the country. I assure you that before the end of his second term, he will deliver more housing schemes for Nigerians,” he added.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees of Renewed Hope People’s Advocacy, Dr. Amos Gizo, said Pres. Tinubu has demonstrated leadership beyond Lagos, describing him as a national figure with a track record of performance.
“Mr. President has removed the fuel subsidy and increased allocations to states and local government areas, thereby supporting development across the country,” he said.
He also noted that the introduction of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has expanded access to education for students from low-income backgrounds, alongside ongoing infrastructural development nationwide.
Also speaking, the National Publicity Secretary of the group, Olatayo Teriba Adepuji, said the organisation is intensifying efforts to reach more Nigerians and mobilise support for the President ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Highlights of the event included the decoration of national executives and the patron, whose roles will focus on strategy, resource mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement as the group expands its nationwide advocacy.
