A Lagos-based car dealer, Yekini Suleiman Abiodun, is reportedly on the run after police launched a manhunt over allegations of same-sex activities, backed by what investigators described as incriminating evidence.

According to sources, the case was reported at a police station, prompting security operatives to begin a search for the suspect at both his workplace and residence. However, he was not found during the operations.

During the investigation, officers reportedly took his wife in for questioning and later mounted surveillance around his residence in Badagry for several weeks, but he still could not be located.

His office in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State was also raided by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, but the search ended without success.

Authorities were later said to have tracked him to a location in Oyo State, where another attempt to arrest him also failed.

Sources disclosed that since October 2023, the suspect has stopped business activities and has not been seen either at his residence or workplace.

Police have reportedly called on members of the public with useful information on his whereabouts to come forward, assuring that anyone who provides credible intelligence would be rewarded.
