Chairman of First HoldCo Plc, Femi Otedola, says he will soon unveil key insights from his business journey, aimed at inspiring the next generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs.

The billionaire businessman made the announcement in a post shared on his verified X account on Wednesday, noting the significant evolution of Nigeria’s business environment in recent years.

“Over the past decade, doors have opened for entrepreneurs in Nigeria that once seemed firmly shut. This transformation didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of perseverance, resilience, and the lessons learned from countless setbacks,” he said.

According to Otedola, his entrepreneurial path was shaped by numerous challenges and breakthroughs, which informed his approach to success.

“I’ve walked this path myself, facing challenges and breakthroughs that shaped not just my career, but my outlook on what it means to succeed,” he added.

Otedola, who also chairs Geregu Power Plc and is widely known for his strategic investments in power, finance and philanthropy, said he intends to share more details about his journey in the coming weeks.

“I will be sharing something very exciting in the coming days,” he stated.

Earlier in May, Otedola revealed plans to increase his investment in the financial services sector, indicating that his equity stake could reach N320 billion by the next capital raise of First HoldCo Plc.

Otedola recently received the Activist Investor and Market Maker awards at the Nairametrics Awards and has been credited with influencing a new generation of business leaders. He was also mentioned by Keem Abdul as the inspiration behind launching his own media firm.

The business mogul has also been recognised for his philanthropic gestures, including past interventions that contributed to extending the lives of notable Nigerians such as Christian Chukwu and Majek Fashek.
