Accreditation and voting commenced at exactly 8:30 a.m. at Polling Unit 6, Ward 4, Ilupeju, Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, with women living with disabilities (PWDs) among the first voters to participate in the exercise.
The electorate who arrived at various polling units across Ejigbo ahead of the commencement of the voting process.
There was a large turnout of voters in several polling units across the local government area, with many residents arriving early to exercise their franchise in the governorship election.
At Balogun, Polling Unit 1, Ward 4, voters turned out in large numbers and conducted themselves peacefully as officials prepared for the accreditation and voting process.
The exercise was generally peaceful in most of the polling units visited, with voters maintaining order and complying with the guidelines at the various voting centres.
The security agencies were present to maintain law and order.
