Osun ranks 4th among States with the most honest public servants

Osun State has emerged as the fourth-ranked state in Nigeria with the most honest public servants.
Jigawa topped the ranking table, followed by Gombe and Benue states, according to the 2025 State Performance Index released by Statisense.

The ranking assessed the percentage of residents who were satisfied with the honesty of public servants in their respective states.

Osun emerged as the highest-ranked state in the South-West region, ahead of Oyo State, which placed 11th nationally.

Other states that made the top 12 include Niger, Adamawa, Bauchi, Kebbi, Katsina, Plateau, and Kano.

According to the report, Northern states dominated the rankings, with Jigawa leading the national chart as the state with the most trusted public servants in Nigeria.

The latest ranking adds to recent reports highlighting improvements in transparency and accountability in several states across the country.
